PhD Overseas Conference Travel Scholarships

For 2006-2008 the Applied Cognitive Psychology ASRI will be funding up to two PhD Overseas Travel Scholarships per year. These are to support travel to significant international conferences to the tune of about $2,500 each. Funding requires an application, following the same timelines as the Flinders University postgraduate travel scholarships. The university scholarship application should be directed to the ASRI Director (Prof Neil Brewer). Awards will be based on assessments of the research progress of the applicant, significance of the conference, and its value to the applicant’s research.

Only students presenting verbal presentations (not posters) will be eligible for the full allocation. If an application for a paper presentation is rejected by the conference organisers, and a poster invited in its place, the ASRI may allocate partial support (contingent on availability of funds).

Applications are now closed.
